You can also choose to enjoy Sirrus satellite radio while driving and allow the people sitting behind to watch the Backseat TV for convenience. This system can be simply operated from the rear-end entertainment control hub or the main radio set that is present near the glove compartment of the car.

Which television channels can be viewed with SIRIUS Radios’ Backseat TV?

§ Nick: This channel consists of famous animated series with characters like SpongeBob Squarepants, Boy Genius, Dora and Jimmy Neutron. Kids simply love watching them and time flies by fast.

§ Disney: This is another much-liked service and telecasts shows featuring Hanna Montana, Cory, Zack and Cody, Mickey Mouse and Winnie, the Pooh. These are all-time favorites for grown-ups as well.

§ Cartoon Network Mobile: As the name says, this channel comprises of short-form programming that span two to eleven minutes and has shows like Foster’s Home and Chowder.

How much do I have to pay for this?

If you own a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep brand vehicle, SIRIUS Radios offers the Backseat TV for $470 which is the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price or MSRP. This price is inclusive of the charges for the first year service only when combined with Chrysler Company’s Rear Seat Entertainment System and SIRIUS Satellite Radio. On the completion of the initial first year, the Backseat TV can be availed for just $6.99 monthly along with a SIRIUS radio membership that costs $12.95 for a month. The point to note here is that the Backseat TV is offered to its Satellite radio subscribers only.

SIRIUS Radios has included a kid-friendly remote control so that they can switch channels comfortably when seated behind. The driver-side occupants can use the SIRIUS radio system that has an in-built display controller and a wireless remote control as well. This product is a boon for harried parents who are tired of answering their kids’ questions and keeping them busy while traveling.
