Radio Tuner.Com

On or about June of 2006, Bassic Technology changed the way the public listens to radio.  The developer founded the company in 2005 although they have over 20 years experience in software development. And it seems, that the name of the company was derived from the founder’s favorite hobby, playing the bass guitar.

An on-line program was released at www.onlineradiotuner.com where for a subscription fee of $39.95, you can listen to free Internet radio.  The subscription allows you the opportunity to play and record radio stations from around the world, and display the album art of the artist, create a favorites list, receive new presets, and schedule your recordings.

The system requirements in order to utilize this technology appear to be consistent with any other on-line programming.  They include:

    * Microsoft Windows® 2000 or
    * Microsoft Windows® 2003 Server (x86, x64) or
    * Microsoft Windows® XP (x86, x64) or
    * Microsoft Windows® Vista (x86, x64)
    * Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0
    * Soundcard and
    * An Internet connection, preferably a broadband connection

There is no support for Real Media because the Real format is closed and no third party components except the Real Media Player can utilize those streams.

There is a 30-day money back guarantee demo period and after the trial period, Recording and Album Art are disabled which allows for the artist display and recording of radio stations.  Everything else about the program will continue to function and the Recording and Album Art can be purchased at a late time.  Apart from that, the program will continue to be functional.

The website is easy to navigate and contains tons of helpful information in a easy-to-read format.  The blogs on the right-hand side of the website, offer valuable information regarding new release updates and how to information.  One such blog entry concerned how to schedule a recording using Online Radio Tuner.  It is shown in its entirety below to demonstrate how user friendly the instructions are:
