Ariza Technology - Free to Air Receivers

Ariza first receiver in North America was Ariza AT-1000; the last one to hit the market is Ariza 800S, there are another 8 models in between. Ariza technology doesn't sell their receivers directly to the public, instead they use their website to show to potential customers two online shops, one for canadian market one for USA customers.

As they promote in Ariza Technology website their receivers are made by Global Technologies, a South korean company a leader in Set Top Box and Telecommunication Equipment/ Multimedia manufacturing industry in Korea with their own brand, 'GLOBAL' and also with specialization in OEM manufacturing. More info about Global Technologies can be found in their website, there is not to much to read though.

Ariza technology products also include: antennas, LNB and LNBF, feedhorns, positioners, DiSEqC motors, switches, lnb holders, etc.

We haven't found a reliable source of original software for Ariza receivers, since it is not available at Ariza Technology's website.

Factory Reset

All Ariza models include a function called Reset Factory Settings, this action will remove all third party software and will restore satellites database, all channels will be deleted, preferences will be set to default values. You receiver will be back to its factory configuration.

Glossary

DVB: Digital Video Broadcasting The MPEG-2 based standard of digital transmission and reception. It is harmonized digital TV that covers all media (satellite, cable and terrestrial). DVB also supports Internet services at speed up to 6 Mbps and can be used on mobile devices.

PAL: Phase Alternating Line, is a colour encoding system used in broadcast television systems in many countries. The name Phase Alternating Line describes the way that the phase of part of the colour information on the video signal is reversed with each line, which automatically corrects phase errors in the transmission of the signal by cancelling them out.

NTSC (National Television System Committee) is the analog television system used in the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and most countries in South America.
